Three - Dutch Boxer Kennels and some of our imports
These
extracts of Boxer dogs filmed in Dutch kennels, taken around the
mid nineteen eighties, show the hospitality of Dutch Boxer breeders
and the quality of their stock. Temperament
and construction are held in the highest regard to most Continental
breeders to the extent that white markings matter very little in
their breeding programme. Not only do most Continental Boxers have
an overall better temperament and construction (IMHO) an added bonus
is that their lines produce very few white puppies.
A big
thank you to Wim Viguurs who spent much of his spare time taking
UK visitors around Dutch kennels and without whose help, we would
have found finding the right dogs, much more of a challenge! And
a big thank you to all of the kennel owners who made us feel so
welcome.
